Carrie trained at Acting Coach Scotland and LAMDA and studied scriptwriting at Royal Conservatorie of Scotland. Carrie is a Reykjavik Talent Lab alumni.
Billby Films current short film 'The Pursuit of Independence' is currently doing the festival circuit and has been accepted into OSCAR, BAFTA and BIFA qualifying festivals.
Their debut film SNAPSHOT was nominated for four awards at the Scottish Short Film Festival, picking up one award and has been selected for many other festivals including Orlando Film Festival.
Carrie's previous debut play 'THE LOCH INN' had a sell-out run at Websters Theatre in Glasgow. Carrie also wrote, directed and performed in 'Bubble' as part of Oran Mors 'A Play, A Pie and A Pint' pint-sized plays.
